NBC is doing it again!
Peter Pan Live!'s numbers may have been somewhat disappointing in comparison to The Sound Of Music, but they were still impressive for a live show.
So the network is putting together another live Broadway show! And this time — you voted for it — they're getting more ethnically diverse with an adaptation of The Wiz!

Partnering with Cirque Du Soleil to help bring the magic of Oz to life without the help of visual FX, NBC hopes this will be the best live show yet!
But it'll only work if they get the right cast! And since many fans remember Diana Ross and Michael Jackson in these roles from the big screen, they're going to have their work cut out for them!
But if it were up to us, here's who would be easing on down the road:
Keke Palmer was a shining star as Cinderella on Broadway; We'd love to see her take the lead as Dorothy!
Who could fill Michael Jackson's shoes? No one really…
But Bruno Mars has so much energy and style, he could easily slip into the straw slippers of The Scarecrow!
David Alan Grier has been knocking Broadway audiences dead in shows like Porgy & Bess for years; we'd love to see him get his automaton on as The Tin Man!
Tituss Burgess is HIGH-freakin'-larious as an aspiring star in The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt; we think he could use his real star power to make an amazing Cowardly Lion.
Those are our picks anyway!
Who would YOU like to see bring The Wiz to TV??

When he was asked what he thought of Jamie's jokes about his father, Burt mostly shrugged off the barbs.
