An insider told Page Six that Hilton, 37, and family were approached to compete against the Kardashian-Jenners on the family-focused game show but she declined because she’s “a businesswoman building a brand and she’s busy planning a wedding. She would never do a game show.”
Ultimately Kim filmed the show on Saturday with Kanye West and three of his cousins. They competed against Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, her Aunt CiCi, Kris Jenner (and grandmother MJ) and Jonathan Cheban. Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner did not compete.
“They were so desperate [for a competing family] that they were going to put the ‘Bachelorettes’ against the Kardashians, and Kris was out. They got the Wests at 10 o’clock the night before. They were in a really bad spot,” the insider said.
The insider noted that family friend Cheban was flown out the night before the show as a result.
Page Six previously reported that the Foodgod, 44, caused a scene at the taping after he was told that Kardashian’s grandmother MJ was set to compete instead of him. His rep insisted that there was no blowout at the time.
