On Monday, Taylor Swift took a break from highlighting her celebrity squad to pay tribute to one particular fan at her concert in Glendale, Arizona.
The blonde beauty performed her 2012 song Ronan, which she's only performed once prior. The emotional track was inspired by Maya Thompson's love for her son who died of cancer.
Prior to performing the song, the Blank Space singer stated:
"There's a woman here tonight named Maya Thompson. I wouldn't know half as much as I know about childhood cancer and childhood cancer research if she hadn't shared her story about her son Ronan."

The 25-year-old previously performed the tribute at a September 2012 Stand Up to Cancer telethon.
Wow. Talk about a personalized performance for a fan. In fact, Maya took to Instagram to share a tidbit of the heartfelt performance (below).
I still can't believe tonight. I still can't believe you did this. This will forever be one of the most special moments of my life. Thank you @taylorswift for your beautiful heart and for never forgetting my Ro. In fact, after reading Miz Thompson's detailed blog that documented her son's battle with neuroblastoma, the Style performer decided to pen a song in Ronan's memory and even credited his mom as a co-writer. Not to mention that all the proceeds from the single went to benefit cancer charities, including the Ronan Thompson Foundation.
This isn't the first time the Grammy winner's gone above and beyond to reach out to fans who've been affected by cancer. In fact, Swift's own mother was diagnosed with cancer back in April — so no wonder the cause is so near and dear to her heart.
"I would read [the blog] every night. And in it was this account of what it was like to watch cancer take over [your] life. And since then, I've had cancer hit really close to me in my family.
Because Maya's right there, I would like you to give her a round of applause, please. I just wanted to take a moment and try to play this song. I think because Maya's here tonight – I think she deserves it."
We can't be the only ones tearing up, right?!
Ronan's mom took to IG again to express her gratitude to the pop princess.
I love you. @taylorswift You have my heart for the rest of my life and beyond. #ronan #fucancer #swiftieforlife #allhailqueentaylor #1989 #rockstarronan #youaremyqueen @ronanfoundation #rotay #tayroA photo posted by Maya Thompson (@mamamaya) on Aug 17, 2015 at 11:41pm PDT

We know you didn't mean it!!
Liam Payne was slammed by fans online after a One Direction concert in Columbus, Ohio where several people felt he had made a homophobic statement.
At the concert Liam was introducing the song Girl Almighty, by saying:
"This is my favorite song off the last album, and it is about trying to find that number one woman of your life, which none of you can relate to, because most of you are girls. Except for the boys in here, you know what I'm talking about."
Shortly after, he received several hateful messages and comments calling him out for what he said.
